The Constitution Court of Germany declined a lawsuit from the music industrie to ban private copies of legally bought Music CDs.
The Reason was the fact the music industry sued too late.

Germany: FDP failed to protect human rights
The Negotiations between FDP (Free Democratic Party) and CDU/CSU (Christian Democratic Union/Christian Social Union) has endet in the topic inner safety. Data Retention and Online Search will not be removed just a few more barriers will be installed. The FDP broke their promise to protect human rights.

Microsoft is searching for commercial piracy
The Software Company Microsoft is using a software which searching trading plattform (e.g. eBay) for pirated copies of their products. If they find one suspected offer they will engage mystery shoppers who controls it.
If these finds out that these copies are illegal, they will sue.

Telekom und ihre Flatrate-”Wende” (GERMAN)
Die Deutsche Telekom war dafür bekannt, dass sie ihre Flatrates auch wirkliche Flatrates sind. Jetzt aber hat die Telekom ihre Call&Surf Comfort (Plus) VDSL Tarife mit Poweruser-Drosselung versehen.
Dies ist die erste solche Aktion von der Telekom, die es je gab. Eine Enttäuschug für mich. Aber laut Angaben ist eine Poweruser-Drosselung für Entertain nicht vorgesehen.
